Pedestrian Struck By Train

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a train in the 2100 block of Pine Forest Drive at about 1:54 a.m. today. Police said a northbound train struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the railroad tracks on Pine Forest Drive. The pedestrian died at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Police continue their investigation.
