Passenger Killed In Two-vehicle Crash
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one man. The crash occurred on Midlothian Turnpike at Johnston Willis Drive at about 8:27 a.m. today. Police said a 2005 Jeep Cherokee SUV was traveling west on Midlothian Turnpike when the driver collided with a 2006 Nissan Xterra SUV that attempted to turn onto Johnston Willis Drive. A passenger in the Nissan, Danny H. Gentry, 52, of Powhatan, was transported to CJW Medical Center where he later died. Both drivers suffered minor injuries. Police continue their investigation into this crash.
