Parking restrictions on 9th Street on Tuesday
Restrictions limited to 9th street between Broad Street and Marshall.

If you park on or around 9th and Broad be aware of the following parking restriction during Tuesday’s Special Election.
Special Parking Restrictions will be in Place Downtown During Special Election
~Towing and ticketing will be enforced for vehicles without authorized parking placard~
RICHMOND, Va. – A Special Election is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13. On-street
parking restrictions will be in place near polling locations in order to accommodate chief
election officers and those working the polls.
The following restrictions will be in place during the election period:
- Tuesday, January 13, 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Ten (10) parking meters on 9th street between Broad Street and Marshall
Street and on the north side of Marshall Street between 9th and 10th
streets will be designated for poll workers. - Wednesday, January 14, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
One meter on the west side of 9th Street between Broad Street and
Marshall Street will be designated for a chief election officer.
All restricted meters will be marked accordingly. Unauthorized vehicles will be ticketed
and/or towed while these restrictions are in place.
