Pamplin Historical Park & The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier will host Home School Month from September 9 through October 2 and from January 6-29.  The Park added an extra month to give flexibility to home school families’ schedules.

This program is geared toward homeschoolers in grades 4-12.  [Students will] Participate in three programs and experience “Duty Called Me Here,” the award-winning, interactive exhibit in the National Museum.  The Park’s knowledgeable education staff will provide a learning experience like no other through the programs, A Soldier’s Life, Plantation Life, and Civil War Battles.

Home School Month programs can be booked for Tuesdays and Thursdays during these two months.  The program runs from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.  Reservations are required so please call (804)861-2408 or 877-PAMPLIN for discounted rates and to book your date!
