RVAjazz made the Up and Coming Blogs list on Outside.in’s Blogiology report of Richmond. With RVAjazz’s first birthday on Wednesday, this is a great honor!

Says Outside.in, “We analyzed data from over 4,000 blogs that provide feeds to the Outside.in site, and based on variables that included total number of posts, location of posts, and links from other sites in the community identified the RVA Jazz as a top blog in the Richmond area.”

Readers may have noticed in the past year [where:] tags underneath any gig listings or other news. Those tags send the posts to Outside.in, which collects posts from other blogs and categorizes them under places (i.e. venue or other spot), content of the post, and neighborhood. RVAjazz’s posts are subsequently placed into a nice looking StoryMap, which was recently added to the right frame of this website.
