From today’s RTD: “‘It’s my experience that with a project of this magnitude there will be many, many suppliers that will be interested in being in Virginia, particularly in Virginia’s gateway region, to better serve this Rolls-Royce plant,’ said Renee Wyatt-Chapline, head of Virginia’s Gateway Region…. ‘We are in the process of working with Rolls-Royce to identify these opportunities for our region,’ she said.” The article continues to note that the jobs that would come with suppliers would be “technically skilled jobs.”
