Dorothy Hamill, 1976 world and Olympic women’s figure skating champion, headlines a free leadership training program being offered to high school athletic captains and team leaders Sept. 8 at University of Richmond.
Coordinated by the university’s Center for Educational Leadership and sponsored by local charities and businesses, the Heart of the Team program teaches Richmond-area interscholastic athletes to be principled leaders and role models, both on and off the playing fields.
