Historic Old Towne Petersburg will celebrate Nostalgiafest 2008 on October 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Come and enjoy: Art, Crafts, Antiques, Musical Entertainment, a Free Kids Zone (clowns, games, magicians, rides, balloons, petting zoo, prizes, etc.), Food, Historic Walking Tours, Antiques, Classic and Specialty Vehicles, and Musical Performances by: The Drifters, The Embers, The Rotations, Monkey Fist, Redneck Pool Party, Dynamo Hum, Rockfish, The Unnaturals, Knee Deep Funk and more.
Nostalgiafest 2008 kicks off at 5pm on Friday evening, October 3rd, with the NostalgiaFest 10K Race – 4kRun/Walk. Musical entertainment begins at 5:30pm and continues throughout the entire weekend. Over twenty bands will keep the music flowing until 5pm Sunday afternoon. While you are enjoying the music, you’ll have the opportunity to browse and shop among the wide range of crafters, artists and food vendors who fill the streets of Old Towne. As Petersburg celebrates Nostalgiafest 2008, immerse yourself in the excitement of a City undergoing phenomenal revitalization. Explore the many unique art galleries, antique and specialty shops as well as the restaurants, bistros and coffee houses that dot the historic area. The entire area is joining in the celebration!
