Nominations For Youth Awards Due By March 20
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Do you know a young person who gives back to his or her community, or an adult who has made a positive difference in the lives of youths? Nominate that person for a 2009 Outstanding Youth Award. The deadline to nominate someone is 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20. To be considered for the awards, youths must be residents of Chesterfield County between the ages of 12 and 18 who have demonstrated at least one of the following: courage, compassion, leadership, or school or community service. Adult nominees must be residents of Chesterfield County over 18. In their work with youths, they must have demonstrated at least one of the following: fortitude, mentorship or service.
