To make it easier for people to get involved, I’ve posted a list of Open Assignments (upcoming events and what not about which it would be great to have words/photos) on Church Hill People’s News. If you would like to get involved, you can volunteer to pick up one of the events that should be covered.

The process is easy. Check out the list of assignments. If you are interested or will be at an event anyway, click Sign me up. Complete the contact form on the next page and I’ll get back to you about any of the specific details.

This is a bit of a citizen journalism experiment on how to move CHPN forward. I’d really love to have more people involved, and this seems like an easy way for folks to bite off little pieces without having to commit too much. I certainly welcome any comments or suggestions.

  1. That’s pretty brilliant. Good work!

  4. Very cool idea. It’s like when CNN airs webcam videos of people reporting their opinion on stories, except potentially more effective.
