New boutique fills void left at Cary Court shopping center

Crème de la Crème recently opened in Carytown in the space formerly occupied by Subway.

From Richmond.com:

A new shop has opened, filling a gap at the Cary Court Shopping Center and fitting L.A. Phipps’ career aspirations.

Crème de la Crème started doing business Saturday in nearly 4,000 square feet that was previously a Subway shop.

The new store sells pottery, furniture, cutlery, stemware, table linens and other home-furnishing items. Most of the merchandise has French or Italian influences.

Phipps, who managed the boutique formerly located next door–Pink–in the 1980s and ’90s before moving to California, will feel right at home in the new shop.
