National news outlet The Raw Story covered the Church Hill DUI incident that has peppered local media since early this week.

In an article published on Wednesday, March 5, The Raw Story featured an article detailing the still-unsolved case:

Witnesses say a Richmond, Virginia, police officer helped his daughter avoid drunken driving charges early Sunday morning after she nearly struck some pedestrians after running two stop signs…Richmond police are conducting an internal investigation of the incident to determine why the woman was allowed to leave without undergoing sobriety tests.
