Museum District Spring Alley Clean Up set for April 2nd

Join your neighbors to help beautify the neighborhood just in time for spring.

From the Museum District Association:

Spring is right around the corner and that means it’s time for the Museum District’s Spring Alley Clean Up. Please join us on April 2! We need volunteers to help reduce the amount of trash, appliances, and furniture that is currently littering our alleyways. Clean alleyways make for a better neighborhood by increasing property values, decreasing the rodent population, and improving the general appearance of our community. The timing is perfect with the Mother’s Day House & Garden Tour fast approaching and street cleaning planned for early May.

Volunteers will meet at Albert Hill Middle School, 3400 Patterson Avenue, at 7:45 AM. The city will provide three trucks to facilitate the clean up. We recommend that volunteers bring work gloves. If you’re interested in helping, please email Matt Hogan at MDAenvironment@museumdistrict.org or leave a message on the association voice mail at 804-410-1632. Hope to see you out there!

Where: Albert Hill Middle School
