Multiple homes robbed in Colonies at Wilde Lake subdivision Monday
The suspect told neighbors who looked upon him with suspicion as he wandered the neighborhood that he was looking for a lost dog.
Henrico Police are investigating a rash of home break-ins that happened on Monday afternoon in the upscale Colonies at Wilde Lake neighborhood in Short Pump.
Police said someone broke into four homes along Northwind Place and Drammen Place and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
Suzanne Esposito lives in the neighborhood and said she was walking her dog when she noticed a strange man in a neighbor’s yard.
The suspect told neighbors he was searching for a lost dog. No description has been released, but Henrico Police are actively working on the case.
