Paradise Park, located in the interior of the 1700 block of Grove Avenue in the Fan District, at was completed in 1973 and will celebrate its 40th year in 2013. It was named for a large Paradise tree located in the park and constructed mainly with concrete and brick structures. There are places for children to play in the sand, a horseshoe pit and several seating arrangements built into the park. There is a Friends group for the park, see the Facebook page and volunteer page on the Enrichmond Foundation website for more.
