A crime alert from VCU:
Mar. 6: VCU Police report that four robberies were committed early this morning by an unknown assailant in the vicinity of the Monroe Park Campus. Three of the robberies involved students. There were no injuries.
Victims described the suspect as a black male, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, thin build and around 30 years old. He displayed a knife in three of the four incidents. In two incidents, he wore a black jacket with a fur hood and a red shirt. He also was described as wearing a blue vest with a white shirt in one of the incidents. He wore a hat in two incidents and was described as having close-cut hair.
