Mini-training To Focus On Understanding Effects Of Poverty
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – The Chesterfield County Domestic Violence Task Force will present a free mini-training on March 23, 3-4:30 p.m., at the Chester Library, 11800 Centre St. The training is titled, “A Framework for Understanding Poverty: A Way of Thinking to Better Understand Our Clientele,” and is based on the training methods of poverty expert Ruby K. Payne. This training is open to victim advocates, social workers, and anyone who is interested in understanding how poverty can affect or impede the healing process after domestic violence.
