Man shot on North 28th

Incident occurred Tuesday night around 8:30 PM.

Richmond police are investigating a shooting in the city’s East End in which a man was hospitalized after being wounded in the leg.

It happened about 8:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of North 28th Street, according to Richmond police Capt. Gary Ladin, who said the man’s gunshot wound is considered not life-threatening.

Police were still trying to determine the motive for the shooting late Tuesday night.
