What does your start-up business do?

LiveSeed.com allows musicians, artists, designers, and photographers to upload their work, share it, sell it, and blog about their experiences as creatives. They are also able to combine multiple creative fields into one comprehensive profile. We also host a web series that showcases a random user twice a month to give site visitors an inside look into their inspiration and journey. At LiveSeed we aim to showcase talented folks and inspire creativity.

How did your venture start?

LiveSeed was started because I noticed all of my friends just doing really creative and awesome things like starting clothing lines, making art a profession, and making music. I realized there was nowhere online where all types of creative people could interact together. I also noticed that the interest-specific creative sites out now (like Myspace Music, DeviantArt, etc.) aren’t organized the right way.

How will you use the $10,000 cash prize to help your start-up?

We will use the $10,000 to help jumpstart our sponsored events in the Richmond area and add some support to our development and marketing plans.
