Voting for the 17th Annual Library of Virginia People’s Choice Literary Award is now open!
Voting for the 17th Annual Library of Virginia People’s Choice Literary Award is now open! You may vote at any public library, at select bookstores, or online. Voting is open to readers nationwide until June 30, 2014.
Among the finalists is Richmond author Slash Coleman for his book The Bohemian Love Diaries.

“The People’s Choice Awards were established to give readers an opportunity to share their enthusiasm for favorite works by Virginia authors,” says Janice M. Hathcock, Public Relations & Policy Coordinator at The Library of Virginia. “An independent panel of judges selects the finalists for the People’s Choice Awards from the books nominated for the annual Library of Virginia Literary Awards.”This year’s winners will be announced on October 18, 2014 at the 17th Annual Library of Virginia Literary Awards where author Barbara Kingsolver will be presented with the 2014 Literary Lifetime Achievement Award. The event is presented by Dominion and the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
