Kitchen Thyme expands rent-by-the-hour professional kitchen space

The West End facility can now accommodate two parties at the same time thanks to an expansion.

Kitchen Thyme, a culinary incubator of sorts–and the first of its kind in Richmond–has expanded with a third kitchen in its facility at 7801 West Broad Street.

The new professional kitchen space is located within the business’s existing footprint and equipped with a commercial six burner range and a gas oven, as well as a convection oven and prep table space, according to owner Melissa Krumbein.

Many local food trucks and vendors, as well as other chefs and caterers utilize the space for their prep work. The expansion makes it possible for two parties to use the space simultaneously for the first time.

Kitchen Thyme’s space is available for rent by the hour.
