The latest issue of North of the James magazine, the free monthly distributed to yards and businesses throughout Northside has a feature on Jazzbo’s Rollin’ Gumbo. Jazzbo’s has become a fixture in the parking lot of Once Upon A Vine on MacArthur Avenue. Housed in an eight-foot by 18-foot trailer, Jazzbo’s is just a shade larger than the last kitchen proprietor Jamie Dickerson once called home — Dot’s Back Inn, also on MacArthur. Jazzbo’s serves up a variety of foods-to-go Thursdays through Sunday.
