A Governor’s Schools Informational Meeting will be held for interested parents and students (especially 8th grade), Thursday, October 9 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Vernon Johns Junior High School Cafeteria in Petersburg. Information will be available about the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for the Arts and Technology and the Maggie Walker Governor’s School for Government and International Studies.
