There’s a new blog in Richmond about urban farming.

River City Harvest is hosted by me, Katey Knox, and my good pal Regan Sprenkle. This spring we both took the plunge and began growing our own produce for our families. As we shared our successes and failures with each other, we were reminded that good friends are valuable resources. We hope that RCH will be a place where a community can grow and many more good friends will be discovered. RCH aspires to become a local hub for Richmond’s growing edible gardening community.

Regan Sprenkle is a Fan District resident and Katey Knox grew up in the Fan. In the interest of full disclosure, Katey is my daughter. Their enthusiasm for back yard gardening/farming is genuine and infectious.
