Phase 3 of the Highland Park roundabout (click links for details on Phase 1 and Phase 2) starts Tuesday, September 23:
Phase Three will consist of proposed drainage improvements, new handicap accessible ramps in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and a new concrete sidewalk. Two median islands will also be constructed along 1st Avenue .
Matthews Street will re-open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. 1st Avenue will be closed to facilitate Phase 3 of the project. All work associated with this street closure will be completed no later than Friday, October 17, 2008.
