Henrico Police seek West Broad Street robbery suspect

The robbery occurred Wednesday afternoon in the 6000 block of West Broad Street.

On Wednesday, September 16th just after 2:00 PM, Henrico Police responded the 6000 block of West Broad Street for reports of a commercial robbery. The suspect approached the victim, displayed a firearm, and demanded money, according to Henrico Police Lieutenant C. J. Eley. The victim complied and the suspect then forced the person to the rear of the business where he took property. The suspect fled on foot from the business and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 45 and 55 years of age, approximately 5’8” to 5’9”, and 210 to 230 pounds. Police say he was wearing a white long sleeve shirt, dark pants, dark shoes, white gloves, and a surgical mask covering his face.

Henrico Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the subject responsible for this crime.
