Henrico Police seek suspect in theft of copper wiring at local business

The larceny took place in the 4900 block of West Clay Street, just west of Staples Mill Road.

On Thursday, October 8, 2015, Henrico Police responded to the 4900 block of West Clay Street for larceny.  The victim reported that between 1:08 AM and 1:40 AM, an unknown white male cut a hole into the fence of the business, forced his way into a locked storage container, and took copper wiring.  The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” to 5’11”, with a thin build and a goatee.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000. Citizens can also text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
