Henrico Police seek Staples Mill Road robbery suspect

Henrico Police are on the hunt for a suspect who allegedly robbed a man earlier this month.

On Tuesday, February 3rd around 8:45 PM, officers responded the 9000 block of Staples Mill Road for reports of a robbery.

Police say the suspect, identified as Da’Twan Nicholas Hatton, approached the victim, displayed a firearm, and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled on foot toward the area of Staples Mill Road and Hungary Road along with another unidentified male. No one was injured.

Hatton is described as a black male, 21 years of age, 5’9”, 160 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a beard. He also has tattoos on the top of both hands.

Hatton is charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. His last known address was in the 9100 block of Dentana Court, however, at this time police believe he is homeless.
