Henrico Police searching for robbery suspect with ‘unique voice’

What exactly that means, I’m not quite sure, but if you’ve seen this suspect, contact police.

On Monday September 21, 2015, and Tuesday September 22, 2015, Henrico Police responded to two commercial robberies in close proximity where the victims provided a similar suspect description.

The first incident occurred in the 1600 block of Mountain Road at 9:46 PM on September 21st. The suspect entered the business, approached an employee, displayed a knife, and demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled the business. No injuries were reported.

The suspect in this incident is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” to 5’10”, between 160 to 175 pounds, and clean shaven. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded jacket, with t-shirt, blue jeans, and light gray gloves. The suspect left the scene in a black or dark blue four door sedan with chrome trim around the windows.

The second incident occurred in the 9800 block of Brook Road at 8:56 PM on September 22nd. The suspect entered the business and approached two employees with a knife while demanding demanded money. The victims fled the store and contacted police. There were no injuries reported in this incident as well.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” to 5’11”, between 175 to 200 pounds, with short brown hair. The suspect was wearing a dark shirt, a black scarf covering his face, and black sunglasses. The suspect left the scene in a black four door sedan.

A video from the first incident in the 1600 block of Mountain road is attached with this release. In both incidents, the victims believed the suspect had a unique voice.

Henrico County Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the subject responsible for these crimes.
