Henrico Police makes more statistical data publicly available online
Chief Douglas Middleton says the goal of releasing additional information is increased transparency.

Henrico Police Chief Douglas A. Middleton announced last week that the department has added a wealth of new public data and statistics to its website, which it hopes will improve transparency and provide easy access to frequently requested information.
The website now features data on the following:
- Arrest Totals (adult and juvenile)
- Asset Forfeiture Data
- Response to Resistance Data (Use of Force)
- Motor Vehicle Accidents
- Calls for Service
- Seized Weapons and Drugs
- Archived News Releases
- Police Division Budget Information
- Police Division Organizational Structure
Chief Middleton says the data will be updated quarterly. If there’s additional data you’d like to see added to the website, the department is taking requests via email. Send a message to Lieutenant Chris Eley with the data you’d like to see.
Check out the new public data sets here.
