Henrico Police investigate two deaths as murder-suicide
Officers called to home on Staples Mill Road early Sunday morning, two victims found dead.
Henrico Police were called to a home in the 6100 block of Staples Mill Road just after 6:30 AM Sunday morning, where two bodies were found. The victims both appeared to suffer gunshot wounds, according to officers.
Authorities released the names of the occupants, Carolyn and Kent Hope, Sunday evening, but revealed just this afternoon that they are treating this case as a murder-suicide.
No other information was available at press time. We’ll continue to follow this story as details emerge.
