Henrico, Habitat for Humanity offering free home repair workshop Saturday

The class will take place at Harvie Elementary School at 9:00 AM Saturday, March 5th.

The Henrico County Department of Community Revitalization and Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity will offer a free workshop Saturday, March 5 to help residents improve their home’s landscaping and curb appeal.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Harvie Elementary School, 3401 Harvie Road. Experts will explain how attractive landscaping can enhance a home and neighborhood. They also will provide design tips for landscaping that will be sustainable year to year and will discourage crime. The session will include exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, door prizes and refreshments.

The workshop will conclude a four-part series of classes designed to help residents maintain and improve their homes.
