Henrico EDA hosting two entrepreneurial events this week

Two separate workshops are offered; one for business owners looking to grow, and another for startups.

The Henrico County Economic Development Authority, an organization dedicated to encouraging the growth of area businesses and communities, is hosting two new innovation events for entrepreneurs in the Central Virginia region this week.

An upcoming workshop called CATALYST is for local business owners and leaders interested in taking their businesses to the next level.

Another workshop, INGENUITY, is exclusively for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to bring their big ideas to life. These one-day-only events will be held October 16th and 17th, respectively, at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen.

The Henrico EDA has formed a team of business experts, CEOs and executives from the Central Virginia region to provide their real-world insight to event participants. Speakers from a wide variety of industries have pledged their time. Participants will hear from leaders at Business Owners Institute, CarLotz, Rainbow Station, GiftCaddies, Challa Law Offices, West Cary Group, Dominion Payroll Services, Gather, First Community Bank, the Greater Richmond Chamber and more.

The cost for each event is $89.

“Due to a variety of factors, we have decided to cancel the Ingenuity start-up event originally scheduled to take place this Friday, October 17.”
