Henrico agenda names of specialty centers to better reflect respective purposes
The changes affect Godwin, Tucker, and Varina High Schools.
The Henrico County School Board has approved name changes for the specialty centers at Godwin, Tucker and Varina high schools.
The Science, Mathematics and Technology Specialty Center at Godwin High School was renamed the Center for Medical Sciences. The curriculum already includes medicine-related courses, which will now be the primary focus and include options to shadow medical professionals.
