Any restaurant owner will tell you that 35 years is an eternity in the business. It’s also a reason to celebrate, and over at Sam Miller’s, the venerable seafood and steak house at 1210 E. Cary St., a two-week party next month will mark the occasion with nostalgia and gusto. Daily promotions will include a clean-your-plate prime rib deal, retro-menu nights with 1973 prices, a sweetheart reunion and other events to show off the current version of the local landmark business.
