— On Wednesday at Cous Cous, Fight the Big Bull will be playing Michael Jackson’s Thriller in its entirety, Big Bull style. Anyone who was there last year will tell you it’s worth standing in line for. I, however, would not know. After standing in line for two hours, I was told the bar was capped. Let this be a lesson for everyone intending to get in this year. Their cover of Weezer’s Blue Album was a pretty good time though, so I can assume that the Thriller show is too.

No BS! Brass is pretty confident about bringing the best Halloween entertainment. Check out what Reggie Pace says about their parade and party at The Camel:

Hello Everybody! So we’ve been talking and we decided that this is what you are doing on October 31st! Starting with…

— The weekend will close out with Glows in the Dark‘s return to Commercial Taphouse. Scott Burton says:

Join us as we make our triumphant return to Commercial Taphouse, and continue your Halloween weekend celebration as we present a special set of the music of Horror Director John Carpenter (Halloween, The Fog, The Thing, Escape from New York.) We have taken some of our favorite Carpenter composed material, thrown it into a giant bag, mixed it, and reassembled it into an epic continuous journey (no this is not Jazz Odyssey much to David St. Hubbins’ delight.) More details on this process here:
