GrowRVA expands to offer farmers market at Short Pump Town Center

Organization’s fifth area farmers market aims to bring more local produce and artisans to the West End

Short Pump Town Center Farmers Market

Beginning this Thursday, May 8th, GrowRVA, the organization that hosts the popular South of the James Farmers Market, will launch a market inside Short Pump Town Center.

The Short Pump Town Center Farmers Market will offer locally grown, farm fresh produce and artisans selling everything from plants and fresh cut flowers to baked goods and hand-made crafts.

The West End location is the fifth farmers market location for GrowRVA, whose mission is to connect local farms, food and arts in the community. The group aims to promote sustainability and healthy food options for Metro Richmond residents.

The market will be held every Thursday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 PM through November 27th near Dick’s Sporting Goods, along Short Pump Town Center’s Restaurant Row.

Live music and other activities will take place each week. A full listing of events is available on Short Pump Town Center’s website.
