Ain’t we having some fun now

You better tell your mama something’s gonna get her
Jen Maciulewicz loved Swift Creek Mill’s Little Shop of Horrors, and now I can’t stop singing every single song loudly and abrasively. Who wants to go see it with me? You betcha, you betcha butt you betcha.

Suddenly Sam-and-Ross
This week on the Sam and Ross Like Things podcast, Ross tries to explain a very good but very weird book, while Sam tells his sushi origin story. Plus, stick around for the aftershow conversation about…deodorant?

You go downtown (or to Manchester)
The RVA Street Art Festival is back after a two-year hiatus. Trevor Dickerson has both the deets AND the dish. The deets-dish! More than 25 sculptors and artists are making things beautiful, so you can enjoy their art year-round. These guy aren’t drips and they don’t rip your slips (one hopes).

The said “Son, be a brewer…”
The Veil Brewing Co. is almost here!!! Another brewery to add to our growing collection–we should really have another river just for beer. A beer river! That’s probably a terrible idea.

Gee, it sure would be swell to get out of here
And by here, I mean America, sometimes.
