Police are asking for information about a shooting in Gilpin Court on May 31.

Richmond Police Department and Do Not Cross Tape

Around 9 PM on Saturday, May 31, the Richmond Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of East Hill Street in Gilpin Court. Officers found 23-year-old Lyle P, McMurtay unresponsive inside a vehicle. McMurtay had received a gunshot wound and died at the scene.
