In an ongoing effort to make the RVAjazz calendar as comprehensive as possible, I’ve added a gig submission form at the top menu of the site, underneath the RVAjazz header. It’s my hope that by taking the human interaction out of the information exchange, people will not hesitate to submit their gigs for the calendar.
I’m grateful to the many musicians who do email me their upcoming gigs and encourage them to continue doing so. But for those who do not, give the submission form a shot. The calendar is the cornerstone to RVAjazz and the feature that strives to make the site a worthwhile resource, and it depends on its content in order to achieve that.
