Since the late nineteenth century, when the ghosts of Civil War soldiers were first heard in the mansion, January 24th has been the night of “ghostly activity” at historic Centre Hill Mansion. Tours of the house focus on Centre Hill’s numerous ghost stories. Tours begin at 6:00pm and occur every 15 minutes with the last tour at 8:45pm. Reservations and tickets are required and can be obtained at the Petersburg Visitors Center in Old Towne.
