Funding announced for both North Richmond library branches

The Richmond Public Library Foundation recently announced that more than $51,000 was raised during its campaign last year. Some of those funds will go to projects at the Ginter Park and North Avenue branches.

  • GINTER PARK BRANCH: The Foundation allocated $10,000 to match the community’s $14,000 support of the Enhance Your Branch Campaign. Funding will be used for enhancing computers, carpet, seating, shelving and additional needs.
  • NORTH AVENUE BRANCH: The Foundation, through partnerships with local agencies, will contribute $10,000 to make improvements to library services, collections and meeting rooms to better serve at-risk populations in the community.
