More than 100 Petersburg High School (PHS) students and faculty members recently gave up two Saturdays to repaint the interior east and west wing walls of their school. On Wednesday, October 15, the Petersburg School Board honored them en masse at its work session, and the group wore PHS crimson T-shirts emblazoned with the motto: “The Pride is Back.” As a slide show rolled, Principal Alicia Fields read the names of all the participants in the service project.
