The Chesterfield County Virginia Cooperative Extension office is offering two workshops this spring to assist county residents. The first, Home Management — Housekeeping, will be held in two sessions on Wednesday, April 23, and Wednesday, April 30, 9:30 a.m.-noon. Participants will be provided instruction in acquiring or improving basic skills and competencies in maintaining their homes. A certificate for home management will be issued to those completing both sessions.

The second workshop, Financial Management, will be held in two sessions on Thursday, May 8, and Thursday, May 15, 9:30 a.m.-noon. Participants will learn basic skills in setting financial goals, making spending plans, building and improving credit and making wise consumer choices. A certificate for financial management will be issued to those completing both sessions.

Both workshops are free and open to the public. Preregistration is encouraged. Workshops are held at the Chesterfield County office Virginia Cooperative Extension, 6807 Mimms Loop.
