Free flu shots available at locations around Henrico County

Vaccinations offered at locations around the county, from the West End to East End.

Still need a flu shot? You can get one for free today and Saturday at a number of locations around Henrico County.

Today, Thursday, from 11:30 until 6:30 PM and Saturday, October 25th, from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM, the Henrico County Health Departmen will hold free flu vaccination clinics at sites from the West End to East End.

The flu vaccine will be available to anyone age 3 or older on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Officials ask that anyone receiving a shot wear short sleeves or other clothing that provides easy access to the upper arm.

The flu clinic schedule is below.

October 23rd from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM:

• Mt. Vernon School (7850 Carousel Lane, Henrico 23294)

• Essex Village Apartments (117 Engleside Drive, Henrico, VA 23222)

• Oakland Village Townhouse Apartments (1400 Old Bronze Dr, Henrico, VA 23231)

October 25th, from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM:

• Dumbarton Elementary (9000 Hungary Spring Rd., Henrico, 23228)

Walk-in and drive-up service is available.
