Earlier this fall, Lakeside property owners and founders of the Lakeside Farmers’ Market, Peter and Sharon Francisco, committed to donate the equivalent of the market’s best day of sales to the Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad. 
They recently presented the squad with a check for $3,160 — which was the best day of sales during August, September and October. The donation was made in honor of the squad’s 50th anniversary.
