Apparently Samuel J.T. Moore III has recently rethought what he wants to do at 2617 W. Broad St. Now according to his attorney, Michael “Magic Mike” Morchower, Moore wants do what will “benefit the neighborhood.” Which certainly will make what sort of enterprise eventually winds up in that location news, as well.

In “Strip-club owner scraps project”, the Richmond Times-Dispatch’s Bill McKelway writes about the latest development in the strip-club-in-the-old-Julian’s-location story.

Maybe his plate was a little too full.

Embattled strip-club impresario Samuel J.T. Moore III and his partners are putting the former home of Julian’s Restaurant up for sale.

The sale would lessen the likelihood that the Boulevard-Broad Street neighborhood — touted by the city as a museum-filled, family-oriented gateway to the city — could be home to a strip club.
