Shadows of Shockoe Ghost Tour

Your ghostly guide will take you through one of Richmond’s oldest and most haunted neighborhoods. Stops include the Old Stone House, the collapses Church Hill Tunnel, Civil War hospitals, and more.
Date: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, October 14th–30th
Time: Tours are offered at 7:30pm and 9pm, depending on the day — see website for details

Haunted Capitol Hill Tour

According to the event’s website, “it’s not just elected officials and security guards who patrol the hallowed halls of Virginia’s legislative and executive seat of power.” Oooooooooooooooh.

Eerie Nights Ghost Tour

You’re apparently supposed to be “in good health” to go on these tours. PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY WILL SCARE THE LIFE OUT OF YOU.

Ashland Berry Farms: Haunted Evenings

With three haunts to choose from, you’re sure to find a level of scary to suit your individual needs.

Creepy Hollow Hayride

Celebrating it’s 19th year of scary the bejeezus out of people, Creepy Hollow promises a narrated tractor-drawn hayride deep into the woods where you’ll see what “Dr. Ulysses S. Farrington” has been up to.

Church Hill Chillers Ghost Tour

Scream Forest

So this is a little…um…intense. Apparently they load you up on a wagon, take you out into the middle of the woods, AND LEAVE YOU. If you make it back, you’ll get to head over to Bedlam House for a haunted house full of surprises.

King’s Dominion Halloween Haunt

They’ve got mazes, “scare zones”, and a variety of spooky shows that are sure to give you a nice dose of fright.

Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream

A variety of haunted houses (including “Bitten” which will surely appeal to all you Twilight/True Blood fans), as well Halloween theme shows and whatnot. There are also a few kid-friendly spots if you end up having some ankle-biters with you.

Spirits & Spirits Pub Crawl

Blood Lake Haunted House
