The recently renovated First Tee of Richmond golf course is now open.

Features of the new facility include: A driving range with multiple grass tees, 18 heated covered tees, a practice putting green and chipping green with sand trap; a three-hole adult course; a clubhouse with a pro-shop, snack shop and an indoor instructional tee.

Fees: $5.50 for a medium basket of balls; $9.50 for a large basket of balls. Play the adult three-hole course for $6; $13 all day. Children can play the tot course for $1; adults $3. A variety of programs that include life skills as well as golf skills will by offered for children. Call 646-4074 or 646-1115 for more information. Discount card and memberships are also available.

First Tee is open from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm seven days a week (winter hours are 10 am to 8 pm). First Tee of Richmond golf course is located off of Chamberlayne Avenue at 400 W. School Street, just north of the Interstate off of Chamberlayne Avenue. For directions or more information, call 646-4074.
