Driver faces numerous charges after SUV slams into Wyndham home

An SUV crashed into a Wyndham neighborhood home on Tuesday evening.

The accident happened near the corner of Old Wyndham Drive and Kelbrook Lane around 6 p.m. Henrico Police say 37-year-old Laurissa Jarvis had driven her Honda CRV off of the road and through two yards before striking the garage of the residence. The vehicle sustained approximately $6,000 damage and the home had obvious signs of damage where the mortar and bricks were damaged on one end of the garage and the interior suffered damage as well (no monetary estimate is available).

Jarvis faces a number of serious charges, including child endangerment and three counts of assault on a police officer, among others.
